• Apollo Proton Cancer Centres(APCC)- Breast Cancer Support Group

Overview

APCC Breast cancer Support Group - A meeting of people suffering from breast cancer, or anyone touched by the disease. Benefits of a support group - Meet other people who are going through or have been through a similar journey, which gives the patient hope that they will get through the journey, gives them company and rids them of loneliness, gives them a shoulder to lean on, helps them cope with treatment-related side-effects, and deal with practical domestic/ work-related problems, amongst other benefits.

Many patients have even joined other existing support groups in the city, in the hope of finding solace. The launch of the support group will further strengthen the 360 degree/wholesome cancer-care that we aim to provide at APCC.

Our core objective is to provide hope, care, compassion & awareness will be focussed in all our meetings.
